Well Kate has had a bad time with her ears. She has had an ear infection every month since January. Then April got here and she got yet another one and we couldn't get this one to go away. After spending so much money on Co-pays and antibiotics that weren't working we were sent to an ENT doctor to spend even more money. This past Tuesday she had a very minor surgery and received some tubes that should be made out of gold in my opinion but that is a whole different story. Anyway, she did great and now we are hoping that she can get some relief and a break from all of that pain in her ears.
Poor Kate had to get up very early for her surgery and then she could not have anything to eat or drink until after the procedure was over. Even though this was a very minor not to mention very common procedure, I was still a little nervous. I was more nervous that the anesthesia would make her sick afterwards but Kate did great and we were very relieved. So far she is doing well and thanks to everyone who sent prayers our way this week.

Kate playing with some toys while she waited for surgery to start.

The nurse had just squirted some juice up Kate's nose. The nurse called it baby valium. It is starting to take effect.

This was sad , cute , and funny all at the same time. She was literally acting like a drunk one year old. This was right before they took her in for the tubes.
