Christmas Recap in Pictures

Christmas Eve was spent with my family and here is Kate drowning in presents. She is obviously very excited about the Barbie she is opening. That was her Christmas theme this year. She is in love with Barbies!

Cute pic of our little family.

Love this picture of me and my mom!

One of our traditions with my family is to decorate Christmas cookies. Kate and Ethan having loads of fun with Uncle Coco, notice Ethan is giving himself bunny ears, silly kid!

They woke up Christmas morning to brand new bikes, Ethan's exact words were "This is awesome"!

They have been asking for Pillow Pets for 2 years, well mainly Ethan has so this momma broke down and got them for Christmas. I do not understand the obsession with these things but they love them!

Ethan reading the verse in the bible that Aaron chose for our ornament to Jesus. This is one of my favorite traditions we do as a family. The kids get to buy a new ornament every year, it is wrapped and put under the tree. On Christmas morning it is the last gift we open and it is our way of bringing the day back to Jesus. It is our gift to Him and our hope is that this helps our children to remember why we celebrate Christmas with gifts to each other.

E and K hanging Jesus' ornament on the tree. This year it was a stuffed candy cane.

Getting ready to sing Happy Birthday to Jesus before we eat cake for breakfast. It is supposed to be a Christmas tree but once they got finished decorating, it just looks like a big blob of cake.

We spent the rest of Christmas day with Aaron's family. For some reason this is the only pic I have of our time there. This is our annual Christmas Day picture. We are actually all smiling. Yay!!
